There’s only a matter of weeks left until the Nintendo Switch 2 goes up in price by $70 in Australia on September 1st, and we can now confirm that the Mario Kart World and Pokopia bundles are also being cleared out with the final units available in a few stores.
This makes sense given the new price of the Switch 2 in Australia is $769.95 AUD which was the price of these bundles previously, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to stay on shelves when a price increase wasn’t announced for these.

The good news is that there’s still time to get both the standard Switch 2 at $699.95 (and cheaper) or the Pokopia and Mario Kart World bundles for $770, before these are cleared out and this becomes the price of the standard Switch 2 console going forward.
We’ve also heard that stock of the standard Switch 2 is currently low across Australia, which makes senes given the impeding price increase, so if you want one, now is the time to buy it.
At the time of writing, JB Hi-FI is now sold out of both game bundles, and there’s only EB Games left with the Mario Kart bundle and a smattering of Pokopia bundles which makes sense given it only just released, but to confirm these are now being cleared out.
