UPDATE: The Virtual Boy and Virtual Boy (Cardboard Model) are now up for pre-order on the Nintendo Store in Australia. Both items will release on February 17th, 2026.
These items both allow you to enjoy the Virtual Boy Nintendo Classic games (available on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack) in stereoscopic 3D by inserting either Switch into them.

ORIGINAL STORY: In one of the weirder announcements for this Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that 14 Virtual Boy games were coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
These 14 game will include the likes of Mario Tennis and will release on February 17th, 2026.
It was also confirmed that a Virtual Boy accessory that you can slot your Switch 1/2 will be released for purchase as will a cardboard model that will also be able to house your Switch as well.
Pricing and release dates for these accessories are yet to be revealed.
