Just like the original Animal Crossing let you do, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0.0 will add the ability to play classic Nintendo games within the game.
The new update will add a new Resort Hotel that will contain a souvenir shop and ass you gain brand recognition for the hotel, classic Nintendo consoles will be added to purchase and add around the room and for those that have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you’ll be able to games on each system within the game.
There will seemingly be one game per system on a range of older systems including the NES, SNES and Gameboy but you’ll be able to purchase systems of all types.
This update will launch within the original Nintendo Switch version of the game and the newly announced Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game on January 16th.
