Nintendo has continued its weird and wacky way of announcing and/or dropping Nintendo Switch 2 editions by today announcing and releasing Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
The game will now run at 4K/60FPS in TV mode and 1080p/60FPS in handheld mode. The game is out digitally and is an $8 upgrade for those that own the game on Nintendo Switch and it will release physically on April 16th as well.
We gave the game a 9/10 on Nintendo Switch in our review saying: “Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a reminder that X is one of the best entries in Xenoblade despite its differences. It’s a weird and wonderful game that stands out in a franchise filled with bangers. This version doubles down on its strengths and supplements some of its weaknesses to make for the best version of X, and is a must buy for any JRPG fanatic.”
