VG247 and Eurogamer are reporting that Ubisoft is set to announce a free-to-play Battle Royale game called Hyper Scape. The initial report comes from Esports insider Rod Breslau.
The game is apparently in development by Ubisoft Montreal (the creators of Rainbow Six and Assassin’s Creed. The game is set to be be teased today with an open beta taking place on July 12th. It’s set to be a free-to-play game and will apparently release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Breslau also detailed that the game will have Twitch integration that goes beyond anything we’ve seen in a game this large before.
