Microsoft has announced that Windows 11 will start rolling out on October 5th. On this day, it’ll start to become available as a free upgrade to Windows 10 PCs. Windows suggest that all devices eligible for the upgrade will have it by mid-2022. Those that buy new PCs will come pre-loaded with Windows 11.

Windows 11 has a brand new design including a new Microsoft Store that makes it a bunch easier to search for apps and keep them updated.
Microsoft is really pushing Windows 11 for gamers with DirectX12 Ultimate support, Auto HDR for gaming and easier access to your Xbox Game Pass games.
There’s been a bunch of design changes including a new Start menu, snap layouts, your Microsoft Teams will be integrated into your task bar and there’s also brand new widgets.
