Cyberpunk 2077 RTX Overdrive

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting A New Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode As Game Resurges In Popularity

Cyberpunk is going to new heights.

Alongside the announcements of the new 4080/4090 GPUs, CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new Ray Tracing: Overdrive mode that takes things to the next level.

The game was already stunning on PC, but now with the 4080/4090 GPUs, you’ll be able to amp the RTX up with 4x the performance utilising DLSS 3.0 (exclusive to 4000 series).

You can watch the Cyberpunk 2077: Ray Tracing Overdrive trailer below:

This announcement couldn’t have come at a better time for Cyberpunk 2077 which is seeing its best post-launch Steam numbers following the launch of the new anime of Netflix. It’s currently peaking at 84,000 concurrent players in the last 24 hours on PC alone, which is pretty incredible to see.
