During this morning’s Annapurna Interactive Showcase, the publisher revealed the next game from Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi’s studio, uvula, and it looks predictably quirky and charming.
Titled “to a T,” the game stars a teenager simply named Teen, who seemingly lives their life in a permanent T-pose. The game will be an episodic narrative adventure in which players guide Teen through school life and their unique situation with exploration, character interaction, mini-games and the discovery of some unique abilities.
Although Teen will face bullying and some hardship because of their condition in the game, uvula says it’s ultimately a “heartfelt” game designed to be enjoyed by everyone, and it’s partnered with charity organisation, AbleGamers, to ensure it’s approaching its core ideas with sensitivity and accessibility.
