HoYoverse, the folks that brought us Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, have announced a new round of closed beta testing for their upcoming action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero. While we still don’t have a release date for the game, this will be the second chance for keen players to try out the game for themselves.
Zenless Zone Zero’s “Equalising Test” will be kicking off soon at an unannounced date and will only be available on PC and mobile (though the game is also headed to consoles), with sign-ups open right now for a chance to be selected and participate. You can find out all of the info you need and throw your name in the hat right here (you’ll need to sign up for a HoYoverse account or log in to an existing one).
Here’s what the developer has to say about the game and the upcoming beta test:
“Zenless Zone Zero is a brand-new urban fantasy IP from HoYoverse, and our attempt to further explore action-oriented gameplay. In this game, we would like to invite players to join the adventure in [New Eridu], the last shelter for urban civilization due to the calamity [Hollows]. Together with a group of distinctive partners, they will fight alongside each other and unravel the mysteries in this post-apocalyptic world.
“This title features a one-of-a-kind art style, an exhilarating combat experience, as well as a standalone IP with immersive urban life experience. The forthcoming beta test will bring a series of updates including new stories and explorable areas, more playable characters, re-designed combat mechanism, as well as an all-sided polished city with interactive urban gameplay adding to it, etc.”
