As well as revealing a new look at Half-Life 2 RTX at CES 2024, NVIDIA also dropped a bunch of new information around upcoming PC game releases and their support for various NVIDIA RTX technologies.
One of the bigger titles highlighted is the PC release of Horizon Forbidden West, which is being developed in collaboration with Nixxes and still doesn’t have a more firm release date than “2024” but did get a shiny new trailer along with the reveal that the game will support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 on 4000 series GPUs to provide impossibly-good boosts to frame rate in Guerrilla’s fantastic open-world action RPG.
A huge number of games were revealed to be launching with or getting DLSS 3 support in 2024, including Dragon’s Dogma 2, Gray Zone Warfare, Half-Life 2 RTX, Horizon Forbidden West, Layers of Fear, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, NAKWON: LAST PARADISE, Pax Dei, Starminer, and THRONE AND LIBERTY.
Dragon’s Dogma 2, Gray Zone Warfare, Half-Life 2 RTX, and Starminer are also launching with ray-traced effects, and Diablo IV is getting its ray-tracing upgrade this March.
