Anyone who knows me personally will know that this is my Hollow Knight: Silksong.
This morning on X, to coincide with the Triple-i Initiative, Justin Stander, the developer of Katana Zero, posted a new teaser trailer for the game’s long-awaited DLC to reassure fans that it’s still, indeed, coming out and it’ll still be free as promised.
What began as a standard expansion for the game has ballooned in size over the course of its six-year development to the point where this free add-on is basically as big as the original game. As Justin is one man, the drawn out development time is no surprise but for him to still deliver it as a free “thank you” to fans is commendable.
Sadly, despite the confirmation it’s still coming, no date was provided, though we’ll keep an ear to the ground and update you we know.
