After the Nintendo Switch 2 version of LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight slipped from the game’s wider launch on other consoles, Warner Bros. has confirmed that players can expect to get their hands on the game on September 18.

That’s not all, the game’s launch on Nintendo’s machine will coincide with the game’s first major DLC release, Mayhem Collection, which adds The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, with their own suite of gadgets and abilities.

It’ll also feature a story mission starring the chaotic pair as they break loose from Arkham Asylum and wreak havoc on Gotham.

The pack will also include seven brand new suits, one for each of the game’s launch playable characters, five new decorative items for the Batcave, and a new Batmobile to spin the wheels of.

We scored LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight an 8.5 out of 10, stating: “LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight might be the best LEGO game yet, delivering a fun, family-friendly take on all of the brooding bat’s biggest moments, plucked from every medium, and lovingly recreated brick-by-brick in an epic open-world capable of matching even Rocksteady’s best. It’s the Batman game Gotham deserves, and it absolutely is the one it needs right now.”
