There’s a current issue with the PlayStation Network’s Gaming and Social tab. This basically covers the ability to launch games, applications and online features.
Users on Reddit are reporting issues with slowdown on a number of online activities and obviously there’s some issues playing Destiny 2 at the moment due to the limited network capabilities.
“Everything is loading very slowly, such as it taking 30 seconds to load my friends list and I can’t make any of my accounts appear online. I can get into multiplayer matches just fine but it still won’t let me set my status to online. said one Reddit user.
The Gaming and Social tab on the PlayStation Status page reads:
“You may have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”
Twitter is also full of people reporting weird issues with their PS4.

I think is a PlayStation network thing Bc is happening to other people and it saying they are on games they are not on anymore

I must admit, I’ve never seen this issue with PlayStation Network. It goes down from time to time, but this appears to be something completely different. Users are having trouble connecting to online games and if they can access it, are having severe slowdown with things like seeing their friends list and accessing their trophies.
