SEGA has announced that Sonic Mania Plus will release on July 17th both physically and digitally on Switch, Xbox One and PS4.
The Plus Edition of the game includes two new characters (Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel) as well as a new Encore mode that will provide fresh challenges and layouts to the existing zones. It will also include brand new updates to Competition and Time Attack modes allowing for four player competitions and ghost challenges.
The physical version will also come with a 32 page artbook as well as a SEGA Mega Drive cover as well as holographic packaging.
