Walmart Just Potentially Leaked A Heap Of Unannounced Games Ahead Of E3

Though E3 is just around the corner and is sure to be the bearer of many surprises as it always is, a number of said surprises may have just been ruined by Walmart Canada’s website mistakenly listing a heap of games.

Some are expected, some are completely left-field and some are spelled wrong entirely. So it’s hard to know what to make of some of the listings.

The listings have since been deleted, but thanks to industry lynchpin Wario64, here’s a screen grab of the listings.

The more curious listings include:

  • Assassin’s Creed
  • Just Cause 4
  • Splinter Cell
  • Dragon Quest 2
  • Borderlands 3
  • Rage 2
  • Gears of War 5
  • Forza Horizons 5
  • LEGO DC Villans

As stated, a couple of these have been largely hinted at as existing like Splinter Cell and Borderlands 3 but others would be big surprises. To get a sequel for 2011’s Rage would certainly qualify as a surprise while another entry won’t be able to solve Xbox’s first-party woes alone, it’ll do its part in giving console owners something to play.

You may have also noticed Forza “Horizons” 5. There’s a lot wrong here as clearly the subtitle is “Horizon” and we’re only up to the fourth iteration of the franchise, so this is likely a bogus listing.

Either way, there’s a lot to chew on here though we may not know whether or not they’re legitimate until next month at E3.

  • Assassin's Creed is listed there, but costs more than a remaster should of it's supposed to be a remaster of the first game

  • I wonder if we can discount this solely on the basis of the FF7 Remake also being listed for Xbox - it was announced as a PS exclusive IIRC
