Mortal Kombat 1’s Next Six DLC Fighters Already Look To Have Leaked

Into these.

It looks like the next six DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 1 may have leaked early, with YouTuber “Interloko” claiming to have found evidence of the additional characters via datamined game files (with reporting by IGN).

With the game’s first Kombat Pack 1 set to wrap up next month after the release of Takahashi Takeda, it’s presumed that this next set of six would make up a Kombat Pack 2, and the datamined characters similarly include three returning Mortal Kombat characters alongside three guests from other franchises. These new Kombatants, as claimed by Interloko, are:

Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 Rumoured Fighters

  • Cyrax
  • Sektor
  • Noob Saibot
  • Ghostface
  • Conan the Barbarian
  • T-1000

Lending some degree of credence to this “leak” is a history of evidence of at least a couple of these. Ghostface (of Scream fame) has previously shown up in datamines, and has been teased by creator Ed Boon alongside other iconic horror villains. T-1000 has also been brought up previously, with the voice actor for Reptile letting slip that actor Robert Patrick would be reprising the iconic role for the game, and frequent leaker Jez Corden has suggested in the pat that T-1000 and Conan would eventually be in the game.

James gave Mortal Kombat 1 a huge 9.5/10 in his review when the game launched last year, saying, “Mortal Kombat 1 is a joyful reinvention of a series that is continually hitting its stride. A strong and varied roster is bolstered by an ingenious Kameo system that offers up a great degree of player flexibility unlike anything else. While it’s a bit off an odd choice to not have crossplay at launch and the approach to gear is bound to be divisive, Mortal Kombat 1 feels like the most complete Mortal Kombat experience so far. And perhaps even one of the best fighting games I’ve ever played.”
