Call Of Duty Black Op 4’s Battle Royale Mode Sounds Pretty Damn Awesome

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 was officially revealed overnight and as rumoured all those weeks ago, the game has a Battle Royale mode called ‘Blackout’.

In Blackout, we’ll be able to play as fan favourite characters in iconic settings throughout the Black Ops universe, but here’s where things get really cool. The Battle Royale mode will introduce land, sea and air vehicles, traps as well as zombies.

As with other Battle Royale games, the mode will revolve around a mass amount of players dropping onto a battlefield with the last one standing taking the crown.

The Blackout map will also be 1500x bigger than Nuketown, which means that these maps will be the biggest that Call Of Duty has seen. Activision didn’t say how many people will be on the map, but I can count at least 50 in the trailer.

It was also confirmed overnight that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 would not have a single-player campaign.

Black Ops 4 is releasing earlier than Call Of Duty games normally do this year. You’ll be able to pick it up on PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 12th.
