Every Trailer Shown At PlayStation’s TGS Conference

Overnight, PlayStation presented at the Tokyo Games Show, releasing a few new trailers from some already announced games, but some unannounced ones too. Lots of cool announcements game out of it, which we’ve done our best to summarise below.

Project Awakening

Project Awakening was one of the newly announced games. The medieval-fantasy combat game is developed by CyGames. The cinematic trailer below, in which a knight attempts to slay a dragon, suggests a melding of Dark Souls and Monster Hunter-like gameplay.

Judge’s Eyes

The second new game to be announced was Judge’s Eyes, the new title from the Yakuza team, that seems to follow a former lawyer who must revisit his past after a string of gruesome murder. In addition to the story trailer below, 4 minutes of gameplay footage was released.

Kingdom Hearts III

With its January 29th release date getting nearer by the day, Square showed the characters of Big Hero 6 in action. The accompanying song is almost certainly gonna give you goosebumps.

They also announced the Kingdom Hearts III VR Experience, which will be a free, standalone release available this Holiday season. According to a post over on the PlayStation Blog, the VR experience will allow fans of the series to “relive some of their favourite memories from the storied franchise with this special, immersive experience.” It will be an approximately 10-minute long interactive video, but extra content will be unlocked for it as you “keep playing.” It looks like it will be a good way to catch up on the story if you’ve missed it, or remind yourself if it’s been a while.
