The Today Show Has Moved Onto Apex Legends Outrage From Fortnite

It’s been pretty well documented that mainstream media outlets turn to outrage, when games are popular enough to reach the general public in Australia.

Well, it’s no different for Apex Legends.

After spending the last 12 months constantly ragging on about Fortnite (here and here), the Today Show has turned its sights onto Apex Legends, asking parents on their social media if their children are addicted.

You always know that a game is really popular when we see these kinds of things, so it’s definitely interesting to see how quickly Apex Legends has hit the mainstream.

There’s definitely a little more reason for parents to be concerned for Apex Legends over Fortnite, with Apex Legends being rated MA 15+ (people over 15 years old can legally play it) whilst Fortnite is only M (highly recommended that people playing are over 15).

Interestingly enough though, this isn’t the angle that this post is taking, when it rating going for the ‘addicted’ angle that we’ve seen time and time again over the last 12 months.
