The Last Of Us Part II

Playstation Has Pulled Out Of PAX East Due To Coronavirus Concerns

Bad news for everyone heading to PAX East next week, with Sony pulling out of the event due to fears surrounding coronavirus.

In an update added to a previous Playstation Blog post they expressed their concerns surrounding the event.

“Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment made the decision to cancel its participation at PAX East in Boston this year due to increasing concerns related to COVID-19 (also known as “novel coronavirus”).”

“We felt this was the safest option as the situation is changing daily. We are disappointed to cancel our participation in this event, but the health and safety of our global workforce is our highest concern.”

This is especially a blow for everyone who was hoping to get some hands on with The Last of Us 2, with PAX East scheduled to be the first chance for the public to get a chance to play through the highly anticipated Naughty Dog game.
