The PS5 Activities Feature Will Apparently Let You Jump Straight Into Game Modes From The PS5 Menu

We’re still yet to know quite a lot about the PS5’s UI, but one feature seems to have been detailed in a now deleted preview from Gamereactor for WCR 9 which is coming to next-gen consoles.

The new PlayStation 5 Activities feature will apparently let you jump into game modes straight from the PS5 menu.

The way it would work in WCR9 is by letting you jump straight into a race without going into the game Here’s the excerpt from the preview: “Or features such as PS5’s Activities Feature (and instant deep-link to specific races directly from the console’s menu).”

In the first ever PS5 interview by Wired, Lead System Architect, Mark Cerny touched on this. “players can jump right into whatever they like. Multiplayer game servers will provide the console with a set of joinable activities in real time”.

“Single-player games will provide information like what missions you could do and what rewards you might receive for completing them and all of those choices will be visible in the UI. As a player, you just jump into whatever you like”.
