PlayStation Network, Xbox Live And Games Such As Call Of Duty & FIFA Are Having Major Server Issues Right Now

It appears that there’s some kind of outage that’s affecting a lot of servers right now. Readers were reporting issues with the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live as well as games such Call Of Duty, Red Dead Redemption II, Valorant, FIFA and a bunch of other games as well.

Australian website, Down Detector is reporting issues with a lot of these services too. Interestingly enough, we had a smaller outage with our site at the same time as these issues started being reported. According to Cloudflare’s status page, they are investigating an increased level of HTTP 5xx class errors.

UPDATE: This issue was not a Cloudflare specific issue, but rather a Level 3/Centurylink issue that affects many servers including Cloudflare. The below response has been provided from Cloudflare.

Today we saw a widespread Internet outage online that impacted many multiple providers. This was not a Cloudflare-specific outage. Level 3/CenturyLink was responsible for an outage that affected many Internet services, including Cloudflare. Cloudflare’s automated systems detected the problem and routed around them, but the extent of the problem required manual intervention as well.
