Following the likes of Deathloop, Kena: Bridge of Spirits has slipped from its ‘holiday 2020’ window into Q1 2021, meaning it won’t line up along the likes of Spider-Man: Miles Morales to bolster the PlayStation 5 launch line-up.

In a statement released on Twitter, developer Ember Lab cited the many challenges that working at home during a pandemic brings with it as the main reason for the game not making its original date. That being said, the delay doesn’t sound extensive, placing it still in that launch window for Sony’s powerful next-gen console.

Having featured on the cover of Game Informer this month, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of those games that manages to look better every time we see it. Hopefully these extra months give Ember Lab the time they need to execute on their vision for this beautiful game.
