JB Hi-Fi is now sending out PS5/Xbox Series X pre-order payment messages. As far as we understand, you have until Sunday at 11:59pm to pay for the full amount of your pre-order or you will lose your spot in the queue. This means that if you don’t pay by Sunday night, you’ll go to the back of queue and won’t have a pre-order waiting for you come launch day.
As we reported on earlier this week, you can not use gift cards to pay for your pre-order either in-store or online. You are able to choose pickup for your nominated stores or you’re able to get the console delivered to you.
It’s still not 100% if the shipment is launch, although we understand that at least for PS5, these are all launch allocation. The same can’t be said for Xbox Series X with a number of delayed messages going out earlier this week.
The message reads: Great news! Your PS5 PlayStation 5 Console pre-order is ready for final payment. Avoid the wait by choosing Click & Collect to pick up from your local JB store on Release day. Pay now at X. Be quick and don’t lose your spot in the queue. Link expires Sunday 11 October 11:59pm.
