JB Hi-Fi has provided a solution to the gift card debacle that has unfolded this week. Initially, their new payment system would not allow the use of gift cards for payment of PS5/Xbox Series X pre-orders, but they’ve now come up with a solution to allow customers to use gift cards.
As detailed on a new post on their website (which customers are now being informed of VIA text message), this requires you still to pay the full outstanding amount on your PS5/Xbox Series X pre-order. You can then fill in a form that gives JB Hi-Fi your gift card number and amount, which will then be refunded onto your nominated card within 3-7 business days.
