Ubisoft’s plan in supporting Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla post-launch has been revealed this morning. The roadmap centres around a Season Pass which includes two narrative-driven expansions, as well as an extra quest.
The extra quest, available on the day of launch, centres around the player uncovering the truth behind the legend of Beowulf. The quest is sure to be a continuation of the journey into mysticism the series has taken in recent efforts.
The first of the two major expansions is Wrath of the Druids, an adventure that’ll take players to Ireland to uproot Gaelic myths and folklore in an attempt to unearth the mysteries of an ancient druid cult. The second, The Siege of Paris, appears to be grounded a bit more in realism, placing players at the scene of the most ambitious battle in Viking history, complete with historical figures from the period.
In addition to these major expansions, all players will enjoy new free content throughout each three-month season. Season 1 is set to launch during December 2020 and should arrive just as players are wrapping up their base-Valhalla experiences.
The following content is planned for Season 1 alone:
The Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass is included in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Gold, Ultimate and Collector Editions or is available for purchase separately for $59.95 AUD.
