While celebrating N7 Day, Bioware has not only confirmed the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but also confirmed that a brand new Mass Effect game is in the works.
There’s not a whole lot of details just yet, but all we know is that a “veteran team” is working on the “next chapter of the Mass Effect universe”.
Perhaps owing to Andromeda’s lukewarm reception, many gamers weren’t expecting a new Mass Effect anytime soon. While that is still clearly the case, it’s nice to have confirmation of something new on the horizon.
No platforms or release dates were confirmed.
