Telstra’s Game Optimiser helps you take control of your home network for a whole new gaming experience. You can currently test it out free for one month by heading right HERE.
Telstra has done some fantastic things in the gaming space this year, like the launch of Xbox All Access, and this has been followed up with the reveal of Telstra Game Optimiser which has now launched out of beta after a successful trial run through September and October.
To celebrate the launch, Telstra has partnered with Aussie streamers I Am Fall From Grace and Rhapsody as well as Aussie gamer Terence to discover not only their gaming rituals, but the rituals that Australian gamers use to prepare to game.
Telstra Game Optimiser is a service that you can add to your eligible NBN plan to improve your online gaming experience. It’s powered by DumaOS and lets you take more control of your home internet service to improve your gaming experience.
This is done by ways such as letting you choose the servers that are closest to you to improve ping and avoid lag spikes, control bandwidth so other members of the house that might be streaming wont impact your gaming experience and ensure that your consoles, PCs and mobile devices are prioritised on your router to ensure that they’re getting first dibs on your network.
If you’re wanting to test out Telstra Game Optimiser, you can currently get a month free, and will then be charged $10 a month on top of your service (this can be cancelled at any time). It’s worth mentioning that you need to have a Telstra Smart Modem Gen 2 in order to access the service as well.
