Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Has Been Officially Announced And Is Releasing This Year

It’s been rumoured for months and months but Rockstar has finally announced it. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be releasing on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC later this year. We don’t have a release date yet, but Rockstar says it’ll share more information soon. A mobile version will also release in 2022.

The collection will include Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, with all three games featuring across the board upgrades including graphical improvements and gameplay enhancements for all three titles whilst maintaining the look and feel of the originals.

Rockstar has also confirmed that the original Trilogy Collection will begin to be removed from storefronts starting next week, to make way for the definitive editions of each games. It’s expected that this collection will release physically and digitally.
