After Infinity Ward’s socials went dark earlier this week, indicating that an announcement for Modern Warfare 2 might be imminent, Infinity Ward has this morning officially revealed the official logo for Modern Warfare 2.
The game is the developer’s next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise, which is expected to launch sometime this year, and a successor to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which served as a soft reboot for the series.

Beyond a logo, there still isn’t much known about the title, although rumours last year suggested the game might follow a U.S. Task Force going toe-to-toe with a Colombian cartel.
We expect now that the game is officially revealed, it might not be too long before we learn more about it.
