Call Of Duty Warzone

Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Will Be A Totally New Experience With The Original Warzone To Still Get Future Updates

Completely separate experiences

Alongside the reveal of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 this morning, Activision also confirmed the existence of Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 which is releasing later this year. It sounds as though Warzone will release just after Modern Warfare 2, which has a release date of October 28th.

Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will aim to provide the newest unified Call of Duty experience with new technology, new features and new gameplay that work seamlessly together. Both experiences are being developed by Infinity Ward.

What’s interesting is that whilst obviously Warzone 2.0 will feature new Modern Warfare II content as well as a brand new progession system and inventories, the original Warzone will continue to exist and be updated over time, so it’s very clear that these are completely separate experiences.
