Our first glimpse of FIFA 23 was revealed early this morning and it was revealed that Aussie superstar Sam Kerr would feature on the cover not only in Australia, but globally.
So far, we’ve only got a glimpse of the Ultimate Edition which features both Sam Kerr as well as Mbappe on the cover, and Kerr is also featured prominently alongside Mbappe in the reveal event promo which you can see below in the YouTube embed.
I must say, this is pretty damn cool to see. It would’ve been easy to put Kerr on the cover on the Aus edition and call it a day, but to see it on a global scale is not only a win for Kerr but also just great to see women’s sport being represented front and centre (as it should be).
