Originally slated to launch at the start of February, “Season 02” of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2/Warzone 2.0 has been given a slight delay, with Activision confirming via a tweet from the official Call of Duty account that it’ll now launch on February 15th.
The statement confirms the launch date for the season, giving the reason that the teams working on the content update have been making changes based on community feedback. It also teases what’ll be coming in Season 02, including the return of Resurgence with a new small map, ranked play and new multiplayer maps, modes and weapons.

Infinity Ward has also teased other changes to Warzone 2.0 that will include updates to the gulag, looting systems and loadouts:
