PlayStation has dropped another new game time-limited trial for PlayStation Plus Deluxe members, this time for last year’s surprisingly-successful Sonic the Hedgehog title, Sonic Frontiers.
Like other PlayStation Plus Deluxe game trials, you’ll be able to download the full game to your console and play for a set amount of time – in this case a fairly brief one hour – before either purchasing the game to continue on your progress or quietly thinking to yourself, “That was nice,” and never touching it again. It’s certainly going to get you a better idea of whether or not the game’s for you than the weird, 15-minute demo that Switch owners got earlier this year.
For what it’s worth, we thought Sonic Frontiers was pretty good when when we reviewed it last year, saying “Sonic Frontiers is an unsteady first run at the open-world genre for the blue blur but Sonic Team has crafted something endearing and immensely enjoyable all the same.”
