It was only a matter of time, and it looks like the worst people out there have wasted absolutely none when it comes to scalping the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition.
As our own James would say, the corpse hasn’t even gone cold yet as JB Hi-Fi still has pre-orders available for the $369 CE, but listings from those that managed to secure one or more this morning from EB and JB have already popped up on eBay at exorbitant prices.
Listings for confirmed pre-orders on eBay are already going for anything from $600 to a whopping $800, so anywhere from $231 to $431 more than the RRP, and it’s probably going to get worse before it gets better.
This edition of Insomniac’s hugely-anticipated sequel launching on October 20th is definitely very cool, but I don’t know if it’s giving-$800-to-a-scumbag cool. Here’s what it includes:
