The Emmy nominations for 2023 have been revealed, and HBO’s widely-celebrated television adaptation of The Last of Us has (unsurprisingly) been nominated for a whole bunch of awards.
With a whopping 24 nods in total across a number of categories, the series has come second only to Succession in the sheer volume of nominations ahead of this year’s awards event. Some notable nominations include the show’s two leads, Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey up for best Actor and Actress, producer and writer Craig Mazin up for Writing and a whole host of cast in for their guest actor roles including Nick Offerman and Aussie legend Murray Bartlett being recognised for their fantastic portrayals of Bill and Frank.
This year’s Emmy Awards event is set to take place on September 18, 2023.
HBO’s The Last of Us is available to stream on both Binge and Foxtel.
Binge is available starting from $10 per month for standard definition streaming, $16 per month for high definition and up two devices simultaneously, or $18 per month for high definition and up four devices simultaneously. All three tiers have a 14-day free trial available for new users – you can sign up here.
Foxtel also has the series available via FOX Showcase, which all subscribers of Foxtel or Foxtel NOW will be able to access as part of the base subscription. Like Binge, a free trial is also available for new users to Foxtel NOW, for 10 days – take a look at that here.
