During this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 showcase, Ubisoft debuted a new trailer for its upcoming open-world racer, The Crew Motorfest, alongside the very exciting announcement that curious players will be able to download and play the game for a whole five hours at launch thanks to a special free trial.
The free trial will be available as soon as the full game drops on September 14th this year, and will remain available for just a few days after, wrapping up on September 17th.
Like any good game trial, any progress made and anything unlocked in those initial five hours will carry over completely to the full game should you choose to purchase and keep playing.
Ubisoft has also further detailed the game’s special editions, with both a Gold and Ultimate edition of The Crew Motorfest available on top of the standard flavour. Here’s what’s in each:
“Fitted Ultimate Pack” with new vehicles and outfit packs
We recently got the chance to go extensively hands-on with The Crew Motorfest and came away ready for more, saying, “I’m very excited to spend some more time with Motorfest. While the preview showed vast amounts of game to play, the ongoing appeal will depend on how well the online aspects are implemented and how the game is supported with updates longer term. What I did play though looked fantastic, handled wonderfully and showed a huge scope for different kinds of events, vehicles, and ways to have a great time driving around.”
