As was revealed much earlier in the year, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ misfired 2020 superhero action game, Marvel’s Avengers, is being delisted and removed from digital storefronts very soon on September 30th.
The game has already had its live service elements and support shut down, with its final update having removed any in-game marketplaces and simply giving all players every unlockable challenge card, shipment cosmetic, outfit, takedown, emote and nameplate for free.

“As we’ve previously announced, official support for Marvel’s Avengers: Definitive Edition is ending on Sept. 30, 2023, and the game will no longer be purchasable on Steam. However, we wanted to reassure you that while the game will no longer be for sale, the game will remain playable for owners largely as it is today.
