Ryu ga Gotoku Studio and SEGA just held their special pre-TGS RGG Summit 2023, debuting new looks at their upcoming titles.
One of those happens to be the very next mainline Like a Dragon game, a direct follow up to 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon, titled Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. We got a look at a brand-new trailer for the game teasing a ton of what to expect from the game’s story and Ichiban’s new adventures, including a little more context around that beach scene and how Kasuga finds himself in Hawaii of all places, as well as the reunion of Kasuga and Kiryu following the events of this year’s upcoming Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
The big news, though, is that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is coming real soon on January 26th, 2024 – as in only a couple of months after Like a Dragon Gaiden. Wild stuff. It’s headed to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC and, yes, it’ll be getting a physical release worldwide.
There’s bad news, too, at least for Kiryu… but you’ll have to check out the huge and otherwise incredibly-exciting new trailer below for that:
