Naughty Dog recently revealed that The Last of Us Part II Remastered, which launches in just a few days on January 19th, will feature brand-new trophies for players to earn in the added roguelike No Return mode.
Thankfully for those of us out there who spent the time to nab the platinum trophy in the PS4 version of the game, it’s also confirmed that these new trophies won’t be required for the Remastered platinum and that previously-earned trophies will carry across from the original release – meaning if you got the platinum on PS4 you’ll automatically get it on booting up The Last of Us Part II Remastered as well.

Naughty Dog also recently revealed at least one more surprise up its sleeve with the announcement of Grounded II: The Making of The Last of Us Part II, a follow-up to the 2013 behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the development of the original The Last of Us.
Grounded II will release for free on YouTube as well as in a free post-launch update for The Last of Us Part II Remastered, though Naughty Dog hasn’t confirmed a release date as yet.
