This morning saw the premier of the year’s first PlayStation State of Play, which gave us a look at around 40 minutes of reveals and updates on games coming to PlayStation in 2024 and beyond. There were some neat surprises (early leaks be damned) as well as some exciting extended looks and new information on upcoming games.
One exciting surprise was the reveal that last year’s megahit Dave the Diver is finally going to be making its way to PS5 and PS4 this April, and not only that but the game is getting a free Godzilla DLC in May 2024.
On PS5, the diving experience will be elevated to a whole new level with the DualSense controller. The controller’s haptics will give players the sensation of a hooked fish tugging the line while the adaptive triggers respond differently depending on which weapon you’re using, making the combat and fishing experience even more immersive.
