This morning saw the premier of the year’s first PlayStation State of Play, which gave us a look at around 40 minutes of reveals and updates on games coming to PlayStation in 2024 and beyond. There were some neat surprises (early leaks be damned) as well as some exciting extended looks and new information on upcoming games.
One important update featured in the presentation was a fresh look at Judas, the upcoming debut game from Bioshock creator Ken Levine and his new studio Ghost Story Games. While light on concrete details, it definitely goes a long way to setting up the game’s vibe which certainly comes across like something coming from Levine and company.
The small glimpses of gameplay contained within are also heavily reminiscent of Bioshock and its weight, first-person action combined with dual-wielded guns and powers and interesting, autonomous enemies.
