The PS5 Pro Is Almost Certainly Shown In The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Logo

It's happening!

PlayStation announced its 30th anniversary event this morning, and along with it, a graphic that shows off a bunch of iconic PlayStation hardware, but it was a piece of hardware shown front and centre that caught our eye.

Right between the PlayStation logo and the 30th symbol, you can see a PS5 console that perfectly matches the PS5 Pro description that was leaked last week with three extra strips up the middle. We can see that this is not a PS5 Slim as that is also featured in the graphic elsewhere.

Bilbilkun took to Twitter to confirm that this was indeed the same console design that he had seen and sketched last week.

PlayStation teased that this event would bring more exciting announcements and the PS5 Pro is rumoured to be revealed as soon as early this month, so it absolutely seems like this is our first official look at the PS5 Pro.

It’s claimed that the console will be named PS5 Pro (no shocks there), and the version that they saw at the very least won’t come with a disc drive, which again isn’t a huge surprise given you can now buy a disc drive separately for the PS5.

As far as the DualSense controller goes, it seems as though it’ll be the exact same one in the box (at least from a design point of view), and there’s still 2 USB-C ports on the front.
