As promised, EB Games has listed the first batch of retro games online, with games also arriving in-stores this week as well.
So far, there’s over 1000 games listed and they’re from PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii, as we believe these are the systems that have seen most trades. There’s a bunch of rarer niche titles and pretty much any common game that I could think to look up was also listed You can find the entire selection of retro games HERE.
As far as prices go, the console prices are fairly reasonable with a PS3 Slim setting you back $138, a Nintendo Wii setting you back $78, an Xbox 360 setting you back $148 and a PlayStation 2 Slim setting you back $178.
When it comes to games, granted all of the systems listed are fairly new, the most expensive is Silent Hill HD: Collection at $64, with The Simpsons Hit and Run costing $44 just to name a few.
Looking at some of my favourite franchises, Ratchet and Clank: Locked and Loaded is priced at $12 whilst Ratchet and Clank 3 is also priced at $12. Jak 3 is priced at $12 as well whilst the original Jak is priced at $18. If you’re wanting the Resistance games, the original and Resistnace 2can be had for $8 on PS3 whilst Resistance 3 can be had for $18. If you’re wanting inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 which are also $8.
Halo 3, Halo 4 and Halo Reach can all be had for $8 on Xbox, and when it comes to the Wii, New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy 2 can be had for $44, Super Paper Mario is $24 and Mario Strikers Charged is $18.
