UPDATE: Horizon Steel Frontiers has now been officially revealed alongside two trailers.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Verge has posted details about the long-rumoured MMORPG set in the Horizon Zero Dawn universe which were apparently posted online in a public location and open for anyone to access.

The game is called Horizon Steel Frontiers and it’s being worked on by NCSoft and Sony and will be available on PC, iOS and Android devices.

The game will apparently bring together Horizon’s iconic giant mechanical beasts and obviously let you play in a multiplayer environment to take them down.

The 10 minute video featured a mix of gameplay and several well known PlayStation staff talking about the game. The Verge quotes studio director of Guerrilla Games, Jan-Bart van Beek as saying “Horizon Steel Frontiers is a full-fledged MMORPG that NCSoft has built specifically for mobile”

The game will be set in an area inspired by Arizona and New Mexico called Deathlands and you’ll be sharing the world with thousands of other players who will sometimes be working with you and at other times against you.

It’s expected that Horizon Steel Frontiers will be announced tonight and we’ll have more info once it’s official, but The Verge has more information and screenshots HERE.
