The original Ape Escape vinyl set is one of my favourite little pieces of gaming merch, as a massive Ape Escape fan. It sold out pretty quickly, but it’s been confirmed that a reprint is coming to Australia alongside a brand new set for Ape Escape 3, and both are being stocked at PixelCrib.
The new Ape Escape 3 set will cost $199.95 when it releases in late May and it’s once again a 4 x LP box set with a hardcover slip case, original key art and renders as well as a remastered soundtrack. It has translucent violent, ice, blue and orange vinyls and personally I think that Ape Escape 3 is the most stylistic game of the series, so the art here is beautiful.
As mentioned, the original soundtrack vinyl set is also getting a reprint. This 4 vinyl set has all the original tracks from the original game with one bonus song that hadn’t been released along with a hardcover slipcase box, new 3D artwork and translucent red, clear, blue and yellow vinyls.
