HyperX has dropped a range of new gaming gear, and it’s just hit Aussie shores for anyone keen to pick up a new gaming mouse, Xbox/PC controller or even a HyperX-branded charging solution for your Nintendo Switch controllers.
The big new addition to the HyperX range is the Pulsefire Haste 2 gaming mouse, a sequel to one of the brand’s most popular devices. The new Pulsefire Haste comes in at a ridiculously-small 53 grams making it a device aimed squarely at those who want big, fast movements. The same goes for its 8000Hz polling rate for minimal input lag, plus grip tape and paracord cable to ensure you’re not coming up against any resistance in your frantic, competitive play.
There’s also a wireless version of the Pulsefire Haste 2 that can be connected via a 2.4GHz wireless adapter or Bluetooth, and only sees a weight increase to 61 grams with a 100-hour battery life. Both versions can be customised in HyperX’s NGENUITY software suite to allow for custom sensitivity settings, button mapping and tweaks to RGB lighting.
In addition, there’s a new wired Xbox/PC controller in town with the HyperX Clutch Gladiate controller. It’s a budget-friendly controller alternative that also includes some unique features like mappable rear buttons and two-position trigger locks.
Finally, HyperX has introduced a new Nintendo Switch Joy-Con charging solution with the ChargePlay Quad 2, which can juice up four Joy-Con controllers at once in less than four hours via a direct USB-C connection to the Nintendo Switch Dock. It also looks like a legally-distinct Pokeball with its domed shape and definitely just HyperX colours.
