LEGO has continued on with its console drops following on from the likes of the NES and the Gameboy by announcing the LEGO SEGA Mega Drive (or Genesis depending on the region). It’s a 479 piece set and it’s releasing on June 1st for $69.99 AUD and you can pre-order it HERE.
The set includes a buildable console, with 2 different build options depending on which system you know (Mega Drive or Genesis), there’s two detachable controllers, a game card that can be taken out of the console, a bunch of stickers and a Sonic the Hedgehog portrait as an easter egg as well.
There’s been a little bit of chatter online about it not looking too great, but I don’t mind it especially for $69.99 which is a lot cheaper than what other sets come in at, and I’ll personally keep holding out for that LEGO PS1 console as well.
