As we reported earlier this week, patch 1.05 for Mass Effect Andromeda is now live for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
One of the main fixes in the patch was the improvement of Mass Effect Andromeda’s facial expressions. Bioware confirmed it would take time to fix this, but they’d work towards making them better in upcoming updates.
Push Square has put together a comparison of facial animations, in particular looking at the eyes. The best part is around the 56 second mark.
Director of Colonial Affairs, Foster Addison was one of the spotlights in previous Mass Effect Andromeda footage, and as you can see below, she looks better but still quote odd.

A touch better, still have a looooooooooooooong way to go though.
Of course, the face models themselves are still horrifyingly-bland.
Kind of better it is a dramatic difference that they will be improving even further thank goodness.
