Although it was originally meant to launch this year, an update to the official press kit and fact sheet for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has revealed that the game is now due to release early next year.
The new fact sheet on the website reads, “S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl releases on PC and Xbox Series X/S in
Q1 2024. The game will be available on Game Pass day one, and preorders are opened on our website, as well as on Steam and GOG.”
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is currently a big feature at Xbox’s Gamescom 2023 presence, with visitors at GC able to get their hands on the game for the first time ever. Early reports are quite positive, describing the game as having brutal and challenging gunplay with smart enemy AI and Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals pack with detail and atmosphere.
